Pacesetter Pro Series
Pacesetter developed the Pro Series using GATF and the press manufacturer’s recommendations for durometer and compound. These press rollers are position specific depending on their function in the press. Different applications require special compounds with specific durometers. Pacesetter maintains an extensive inventory to match each specific application’s needs. Most other roller manufacturers are limited to how many durometers or compounds they can carry, due to their lack of new core inventories.We have the facilities and the commitment to stock extensive press roller inventories to be able to offer unmatched service to the printing industry. We have a fully-equipped and staffed machine shop on premises. We have our own rubber mills, experienced lab technicians and a rubber chemist creating the compounds to meet press manufacturers’ requirements.

Our press rollers are manufactured to specifications and GATF recommended position specific durometer. True To Center is the exact measurement from the center of the core, to all points of the face of the press roller. Press roller chatter, toning and washing out can be eliminated by new core, cover and bearings ready to run.
INK DUCTOR
The most abused press roller in the press. The mechanical stress will require a special compound and durometer.
INK FORM
Gap deflection is the issue. A compound with low resistance and proper durometer will deliver a consistent flow of ink and water to the plate resulting in sharp dot quality and dense solids.
DISTRIBUTOR/RIDER
The distributor press roller is basically an ink mill blending ink and water while a vibrator is oscillating across it. This will require a compound with high resistance as well as durometer. Maintaining proper settings is important to ink and water balance.
